The Huila region is one of the most well-known coffee growing areas of Colombia. There has been producing and exporting coffee that are renowned or their full body, bright acidity and rich aftertaste, since the early 19th century. Thanks to its wide range of locations, climates and altitudes Colombia can meet demand for coffee throughout the whole year.
Coffee trees on Finca La Argentina are intercropped with other cash and subsistence crops such as plantain, pitaya (dragonfruit), peach, orange, tangerine, lime, guava and sugarcane.
